Our job is to help you get your product to market quickly and without errors. With an in-house tool shop, we have the flexibility to meet your tooling needs, and our long-time affiliation with local and regional tool shops gives us with numerous tool-fabrication options.

 

Prototyping


If there is any doubt about the final material configuration of a part, Itran prototyping will ensure that you develop the right design.

 

In order to test the optimum performance of your configuration and formulations, your preliminary specifications are translated into a mold design by our engineering department. This prototype mold is then tooled by our experienced toolmakers, after which a proposed compound is prepared in the laboratory and a sample part is produced.

 

Toolmaking


Our skills and dedication to precision toolmaking are central to our concentration on intricate, high-tech rubber crafting.

 

Itran has both the equipment and the personnel to create molds capable of producing high-precision rubber components, as defined by the Rubber Manufacturers Association Handbook on molded rubber products. Our in-house machine shop is equipped with CNC machinery for designing, building, maintaining and modifying molds, and our toolmakers and engineers work closely together throughout the entire mold-making process.
